Rise in female international students in Australia

International education is Australia’s largest services export, contributing billions of dollars annually to the Australian economy. Female international students form a vital part of this sector. In the past decade, the number of female international students in Australia has significantly increased as more female students choose Australia as their preferred study destination. This trend reflects a broader global shift towards gender equality in education and highlights Australia's role in providing an inclusive and equal academic environment.

Applications open for the Australian EMI Teachers’ Training showcase in Taiwan

The English Medium Instruction (EMI) Teachers’ Training project showcases Australia’s EMI teaching expertise in Taiwan. It engages local schools, county governments, and higher education academics. Applications to participate close 16 August 2024.

Unlimited users for EDI premium

Organisations who currently have access to EDI premium may have an unlimited number of users from their organisation accessing the service. In most cases, premium access will be granted automatically to eligible new users upon application. A premium subscription provides users access to detailed student data, dashboards, market insights, opportunities, sub-sector analysis and reports.

There are currently 8 education events, face-to-face and online, across multiple markets including Mongolia, Thailand, Vietnam, mainland China and Taiwan.
